On Monday afternoon, Clemson sent out what appears to be their first offer to a quarterback from the class of 2017
Lowell Narcisse, the recipient, was in touch with co-offensive coordinator Tony Elliott. They spoke over the phone.
“Him and my cousin, Chad (Jasmin), had played at Clemson together,” Narcisse told TheClemsonInsider on Monday night.
“(Elliott) said that him and the quarterbacks coach watched my film and they wanted to get in contact with me right away,” Narcisse said. “He told me that they were going to offer me. They want me to come back for another unofficial, so they can build a relationship with me.”
Jasmin brought Narcisse to Clemson last fall for the Syracuse game. Since he’s already gotten a first-hand look at the school, Narcisse was excited to pick up the offer.
“It was one of those that I had really wanted…it was definitely one that I really wanted,” he said.
A return is set for the Dabo Swinney Camp in June. Exactly where else the four-star quarterback will visit this summer is still up in the air.
Who leads?
“Auburn, LSU, Clemson, Baylor and Alabama.”
Narcisse said the list is no particular order.
As a sophomore, he completed 205 of 358 passes for 3,124 yards with 31 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. Narcisse also rushed 195 times for 1,402 yards with 18 scores.
