Clemson struck first in its first game versus the Stony Brook Seawolves on Friday.

Mac Starbuck was hit by a pitch and then advanced to second on a hit by Kier Meredith. Elijah Henderson singled to load the bases. With the bases loaded, Adam Hackenberg lined into a double play. However, he brought in Starbuck in the process.

The Tigers led 1-0 after one inning.
