CLEMSON — Cade Klubnik’s 1-yard quarterback sneak for a touchdown extended Clemson’s lead over No. 4 Florida State in today’s game at Death Valley.
The Tigers’ starting quarterback barreled into the end zone with 11:33 left in the second quarter, giving the Tigers a 10-0 advantage over the Seminoles.
Klubnik’s TD capped a seven-play, 51-yard drive that spanned 3:20.
The key play on the possession was Klubnik’s 28-yard completion to freshman receiver Tyler Brown, who made an outstanding diving grab that put the Tigers at FSU’s 6-yard line. Unfortunately for Clemson, Brown landed on his shoulder and stayed down on the field before going into the medical tent.
