During his weekly Sunday evening Zoom conference call with the media, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney updated the health status of his team coming out of the Tigers’ 31-14 win at Syracuse on Saturday.
“Injury wise, our guys, we came through the game in pretty good shape,” Swinney said.
Swinney also gave the latest injury update on junior cornerback Nate Wiggins and sophomore receiver Antonio Williams, both of whom did not travel for the Syracuse game.
Swinney said the Tigers will “hopefully” get them back for this Saturday’s game vs. Wake Forest at Death Valley.
“Hopefully we’ll get Nate back, and maybe Antonio,” Swinney said. “We’ll see what happens as we work them out pretty extensively tomorrow.”
Wiggins left the Florida State game on Sept. 23 with a bone bruise after hyperextending his knee. The Syracuse game was the second straight game that Williams missed after he suffered an ankle injury against Florida Atlantic on Sept. 16.
