Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney held his Zoom conference call with the media on Monday and gave an update on a starting cornerback who missed last Saturday’s game vs. Wake Forest.
Swinney said fifth-year senior Sheridan Jones was doing “better today” after having headaches and feeling sick leading up to the Wake Forest game.
“We’re still waiting on some bloodwork and tests and stuff,” Swinney said Monday. “But he was better today with the symptoms that he was dealing with.”
Jones started each of the Tigers’ first five games this season prior to the Wake Forest game. The 6-foot, 190-pounder posted three tackles (one for loss) at Duke before recording two tackles and a pass breakup vs. Charleston Southern. He then tallied two tackles vs. Florida Atlantic before adding six tackles vs. Florida State and two more tackles at Syracuse.
