CLEMSON – A Sunshine State recruit made his first visit to Clemson for the win over Georgia Tech in Death Valley.
2026 edge Jake Kreul traveled up from Orlando, Fla. to see the Tigers and he spoke to The Clemson Insider about his first impression.
Clemson is now entering Kreul’s recruitment and it was crucial for the Tigers to make a strong early impact. Following the first weekend in Tiger Town, Kreul says Clemson’s staff did just that.
“The Clemson staff and I have just now started building our relationship. And they have definitely left a great first impression. So going forward in the future, I will definitely be continuing to build this relationship and looking forward to the summer and getting a chance to showcase myself at a camp,” Kreul said.
As a 2026 prospect, it’s still a ways away until the Tigers will offer Kreul’s class but it’s something that he’s eagerly looking to earn.
He sees Clemson as a coveted offer to receive and next summer is the time to earn that opportunity. While he already holds 12 Division-I offers, Kreul is hungry to prove his talents and has high hopes to receive that call from the Tigers.
“A Clemson offer would definitely mean the world to me. I understand how exclusive of a school Clemson is and what comes with getting the honor of being a player at Clemson. So I think being blessed to have a Clemson offer would definitely impact me heavily and would leave a big lasting impact on me,” Kreul said.
Kreul’s recruitment will continue to heat up, and this still a fresh relationship with Clemson. That said, the impact is obvious and he could be eyeing the Dabo Swinney Camp next summer to prove himself and earn a coveted offer from the Tigers.
