CLEMSON – All hands are on deck for Clemson’s Senior Day against North Carolina in Death Valley, returning two key defenders.
Linebacker Barrett Carter is back in the fold. He missed the Georgia Tech game, but he’s active against the No. 3 total offense. Carter has 50 total tackles on the year, including seven for loss.
Cornerback Sheridan Jones is available for the key matchup with the Tar Heels, and it’s only right he gets to appear on Senior Day. Jones has 23 tackles, two pass deflections and an interception on the year.
The bad news is cornerback Jaedyn Lukus and safety Jalyn Phillips are both unavailable for the Tigers. Given the returning pieces, Clemson has the tools to mitigate the losses against an elite unit.
Garrett Riley’s unit has no injuries listed, and the offense can run on all cylinders on a sunny day. The Tigers and Tar Heels kick off at 3:30 p.m., televised on ESPN.
