Former Georgia and Miami head coach Mark Richt didn’t hold back talking about Clemson’s win over South Carolina.

Late Saturday night on ACC Network’s ACC Huddle show, Richt shared his thoughts on the 16-7 win for the Tigers at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.

“Clemson only threw for 100 yards,” he said. “It wasn’t a pretty game offensively. But what do you do to win a game like that, you run the rock.  They ran the rock. You play great defense. They played unbelievable defense. And you just secure the victory. Even at the end of the game, just take a knee at the end of the game.”

Those that look at the final score won’t understand how Clemson dominated the game according to the ACC analyst.

“Well the bottom line is they whipped their tale,” Richt said. “The score didn’t indicate how badly they beat them.”
