Big transfer news out of Oklahoma

The mass exodus in college football continues, and former Clemson coach Brett Venables will be preparing a new starting quarterback at Oklahoma.

Dillon Gabriel announced he’s entering the transfer portal after his second impressive season with the Sooners. Gabriel transferred to Oklahoma after three strong seasons at Central Florida, and he’s totaled 72 touchdowns as a Sooner.

Gabriel has a single year of eligibility left and he’ll instantly become one of, if not the most coveted quarterback in the transfer portal. With the news, Venables turns his focus to five-star freshman Jackson Arnold, who will take over the starting duties with Oklahoma’s tough departure.
