Swinney Details Clemson’s Christmas Plans

The bowl schedule lines up right with the holidays, and the Clemson Tigers are down in Jacksonville, Florida preparing for the Gator Bowl matchup with the Kentucky Wildcats.

After Christmas Eve practice, head coach Davi Swinney detailed how Clemson plans to celebrate Christmas. Good news is many of the Tigers have their families in town so it’ll be a massive group enjoying the holiday.

“In the real world down here it’s Sunday so nothing’s open. It’s Christmas Eve so we’re going to have a little dinner tonight. We’ve got a little entertainment coming in. We’re going to have some fun with them and then we’ll have a big Christmas brunch for probably about 400 people tomorrow. All of our families and the team so we’ll do that. Probably have some guys sing and I think Santa’s gonna show up. Maybe have some gifts and so forth and then we’ll lock in, have a team meeting probably about noon. Full pads, Tuesday practice. Have a little scrimmage to end it up with our JV and keep getting ready for this game on the 29th.”
