The dream continues for a former Tiger is getting another chance to play professional football.
The Memphis Showboats have selected Diondre Overton in the dispersal draft.

In the 2022 USFL season, Overton recorded 200 receiving yards and three touchdowns while helping the Stars make it to the USFL Championship Game against the Birmingham Stallions. Overton followed that up with 30 catches for 333 yards and two touchdowns for the Stars in 2023.
At Clemson, Overton finished with 52 career receptions for 777 yards and seven touchdowns over 51 games (five starts) from 2016-19.
