Louisiana WR Commits to Clemson Over LSU

The Clemson football program picked up a new commitment on Friday.

Evangel Christian Academy (Shreveport, La.) wide receiver Parker Fulghum committed to Dabo Swinney’s program as a preferred walk-on.

Fulghum received the PWO offer from Clemson on a gameday visit in November, and he is coming off an official visit to Clemson last weekend.

The class of 2024 recruit chose the ACC’s Tigers over a PWO offer from the in-state LSU Tigers.

LSU is both of his parents’ alma mater, and his father is former LSU quarterback Josh Booty.

Fulghum had a strong senior season in 2023, when the 6-foot-1, 190-pounder hauled in 70 catches for 1,418 yards and 18 touchdowns.
