Dabo Swinney is a man of many talents, and he’s very personal around the players he tries to recruit to Clemson. It’s why he’s one of the best in the country at doing so, and he’s also a good coach in more sports than football.

During the Elite Retreat, Swinney had a multitude of recruits in town and one of those was offensive line target Mason Short. Swinney took him under his wing in the golf simulator, and it turns out those lessons are paying off in a video Short shared.

Short is one of the players that could round out Clemson’s 2025 offensive line class in a strong way. As the Tigers continue to bid for his talents, Swinney’s efforts as a golf coach can’t hurt either.
