The Tigers (6-2) travel to Charlotte on Wednesday afternoon before opening the home portion of their schedule this weekend with the Clemson Classic as they host Ole Miss, Miami (OH), and Connecticut.

The redshirt senior utility player from Yorktown, VA earned her first hitter-of-the-week award after going 3-for-9 (.333) over three games in the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. Cagle, who was named to the All-Tournament Team, had one double, one triple, one homer, two runs, one walk, one HBP and two RBI while leading the team in slugging (1.000).

Regan Spencer
The senior righty from Lexington, NC earned her first pitcher-of-the-week award for her performance out of the bullpen in the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge. In 3.0 innings over two games, Spencer allowed one run (no earned) on one hits (.083 OBA) with no walks and a strikeout.
Weekly Notes:
The Tigers outscored their opponents 16-10 on the week while outhitting the opposition .265 (22 hits) to .247 (22 hits). On the weekend, Clemson had three doubles, one triple, five homers, four walks, and two HBPs against 14 strikeouts while going 2-3 on stolen bases. The Tiger pitching staff had a 2.00 ERA, allowing 10 runs (six earned) across 21.0 innings with six walks and 12 strikeouts. Clemson fielded at a .945 clip, committing six errors in 109 chances.

Clemson travels to Charlotte on Wednesday before welcoming Ole Miss, Miami (OH), and Connecticut to McWhorter Stadium for the Clemson Classic.
