Where PJ Hall Landed in ESPN’s Latest NBA Mock Draft

ESPN released its latest 2024 NBA mock draft this week (subscription required), projecting each pick in the two rounds.

The mock draft has Clemson star PJ Hall landing with the Indiana Pacers in the second round as the 53rd overall pick.

The Tigers’ senior center is having a stellar season and entered Wednesday’s matchup against Georgia Tech averaging 19.5 points per game (second in the ACC) while shooting 49.4 percent from the field, good for ninth in the conference, and posting 7.2 rebounds per contest, 10th in the league.

The 6-foot-10, 238-pounder is one of two players in America averaging 19.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 assists and 30.0+ PER (Zach Edey, Purdue).

A preseason first-team All-ACC honoree, Hall was named to the John R. Wooden Award Preseason Top 50 Watch List, the Midseason Top 25 Watch List and was recently upgraded to the Late Season Top 20 Watch List for his play this season. He was also named to 2023-24 Lute Olson Midseason Watch List and was added to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award Top 10 List (nation’s best center).

Hall is just the fourth Tiger to amass 1,500-plus points, 500-plus rebounds and 100-plus blocks in a career (Trevor Booker, Elden Campbell, Dale Davis). He became the 12th player in Clemson history to reach 1,500 career points at Syracuse on Feb. 10.

The 2024 NBA Draft will be held on June 26-27.
