Top-100 Recruit, Ex-Bama Commit Set to Visit Clemson Again

Clemson is set to host this highly regarded top-100 national prospect in the class of 2025.

Evans (Ga.) High School four-star offensive lineman Mason Short will return to Tiger Town for another visit Wednesday.

Clemson extended an offer to Short on Jan. 24, and he subsequently attended the Tigers’ elite junior day on Jan. 27.

The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder decommitted from Alabama on Jan. 16, following the retirement of Nick Saban. He had previously been committed to the Tide since last April.

Last month, Short named Clemson one of his top four schools, along with Georgia, Kentucky and Ohio State.

A four-star prospect according to ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports, Short is also ranked among the nation’s top 100 prospects in his class by ESPN (No. 75) and Rivals (No. 87).
