The Clemson Tigers compete on and off the field.
It all started when 2025 four-star running back and commit Gideon Davidson shared a photo out fishing and even referenced a couple offensive line targets Clemson is going after.
Following this post, fellow Clemson pledge Blake Hebert shared the big catch of his own. The four-star quarterback’s post sparked a friendly competition among the new and soon-to-be Tigers.

When Hebert shared the photo, five-star wide receiver and summer enrolle TJ Moore called out linebacker Sammy Brown, challenging if he could match the expertise of the 2025 class. He even replied jokingly, saying “they making you look bad” to fire up the former five-star recruit.
@sammybrown_ you have 24hrs to respond https://t.co/CkdAX3Xw0x

Although Brown didn’t respond within the 24 hours, he made sure to prove that he’s no rookie when it comes to the fishing game. Kicker Nolan Hauser chimed in with a photo of his own, but Hebert joked about the fish’s size, saying “that’s massive.”

The camaraderie between this group is evident and one thing is clear: the jokes take no prisoners for the new Tigers.
