Rising junior quarterback Cade Klubnik, offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and offensive player development coach/former Clemson quarterback great Tajh Boyd appeared on the latest episode of Clemson Football’s 2 Right Turns podcast.

Among other topics that were discussed during the episode, Riley talked about the process of how he helps players prep for games and get them ready to play.

Boyd spoke about his transition from player to life after football to now coaching and how he communicates with current players, and Klubnik and Riley discussed being part of a program that prides itself on not only making great football players, but also great men off the field and graduating them too.

Riley, who’s now entering his second season as the Tigers’ OC, also gave a quick “love letter” to Clemson and the program since being a part of it, explaining what makes him love the place and the people in Tiger Town.

“The first thing that sticks out to me, and you could see it from day one of just being around this program is, it is the people – there’s no doubt about it – and that’s the people in our building, it’s the people that obviously support you in the community and come to games. It’s almost overwhelming,” Riley said. “We have a huge staff, just kind of starting there. But it’s just likeminded people that truly love to be here and truly love to be around our players, and it’s genuine.”

“We kind of say it all the time as coaches and people that work here – it’s hard to fabricate and it’s hard to duplicate it,” Riley continued. “A lot of other people have probably tried, people that have moved on or whatever, and it’s just something about being in this setting and this state and this town, and all the things that we’re about, it all just works together. So, it’s kind of hard to describe, but that’s probably the best way I can put it.”
