Three Clemson Tigers made the All-West Region Team for their performances in the 2024 NCAA Tournament.
The trio of guard Chase Hunter, forward Ian Schieffelin and center PJ Hall were all recognized for Clemson’s run that fell one-game short of the Final Four.
Hunter saved his best basketball for March, scoring in double-digits in all four games. He scored 20 and 21 points in the first weekend games and 19 points in Clemson’s win over No. 2 seed Arizona on Thursday. He also had at least five assists in all four contests.
He was also tasked with the toughest matchups in the backcourt, helping limit three impressive offenses to under 40 percent from the floor.
This was a season Hall decided to return for and closed it with a strong showing. He scored in double digits for all four games in the tournament and made his mark. His frontcourt co-star made a big impact as well.
Schieffelin added two double-doubles in the tournament, living up to the award for the ACC’s Most Improved. The junior averaged 14.8 points and eight rebounds in the run.
