The final USA TODAY Sports Men’s Basketball Coaches Poll was released on Tuesday following Monday’s national championship game.
Clemson (24-12) finished No. 15 in the final coaches poll. The Tigers also finished in the top 15 of the final AP Poll (No. 14).
One of the ACC’s three Elite Eight representatives, Clemson made its first Elite Eight appearance since 1980 after beating New Mexico, Baylor and Arizona in the NCAA Tournament before falling to Alabama in the Elite Eight.
The Tigers’ 24-12 record marked their best since 2017-18 (25-10), also a Sweet Sixteen team that ended the season ranked No. 15 in the coaches poll.
North Carolina (No. 6) finished as the highest-ranked ACC team in the final coaches poll, followed by Duke (No. 9), NC State (No. 13) and then Clemson.
The list of top-25 teams that the Tigers beat in 2023-24 includes Alabama (No. 4), UNC, Arizona (No. 12), Baylor (No. 14) and South Carolina (No. 23).
