The offseason drama has raged on for a former Clemson Tiger, but he’s expecting to stay put for the 2024 season.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins received the franchise tag this spring before requesting a trade. He and the franchise failed to reach a long-term agreement and it led to the back-and-forth about his future.
Turns out it was all for naught as odds are Higgins will play for the Bengals this year. He shared that prediction in a video from NBC 5 Cincinnati’s Charlie Clifford.

“I do anticipate it,” Higgins said. “I’ve grown a love for Cincy that I didn’t think I would but yeah, looking forward to it.”
Over his first four seasons, Higgins amassed 257 catches for 3,684 yards and 24 touchdowns. He’s likely to raise those numbers by a strong margin, and it could net a strong payday in 2025.
If that’s the case, it’s just a matter of the money will come from Cincinnati or elsewhere.
