Clemson basketball will be taking a trip to Daytona Beach in the fall.

The Clemson Insider has confirmed that Brad Brownell and the Tigers will play in the 2024 Sunshine Slam. It’s another in-season tournament for Clemson a year after the Tigers took home the Asheville Championship.

Last season’s Sunshine Slam featured the likes of Florida State, Colorado and Central Michigan in an eight-team bracket. This year will feature the Tigers as well as Penn State confirmed as a potential opponent by Jon Rothstein.

The Tigers are coming off an Elite Eight run in the NCAA Tournament, the second in program history. Brownell’s biggest expected returner is Ian Schieffelin after the 24-12 finish.
