Bakich Updates Will Taylor Injury

CLEMSON — Clemson head coach Erik Backich updated the injury to leftfielder Will Taylor following the sixth-ranked Tigers’ 6-4 victory over Pittsburgh Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Bakich said Taylor will miss the rest of the regular season and could be back by the end of May. Taylor injured his left wrist (glove hand) while making a diving attempt at a foul ball in last Sunday’s game against NC State.

Bakich said Taylor broke a small bone in his left wrist and will have a procedure this coming Tuesday to fix it.

Watch Bakich talk about Taylor’s injury following Friday’s win.
