Where Did Hall Land in This New NBA Mock Draft?

The 2024 NBA Draft takes place from June 26-27, and Clemson’s PJ Hall is among the players hoping to hear their names called.

Mock drafts are popping up online ahead of next month’s festivities, and a full two-round mock draft following Sunday’s lottery reveal was published on NBA.com, now that the draft order is official.

The mock draft from NBA Draft analyst Jonathan Wasserman projects Hall to be selected by the San Antonio Spurs in the second round with the 48th overall pick.

Here’s what Wasserman wrote about the 6-foot-10, 238-pound big man:

Hall’s strengths and weaknesses were evident during Clemson’s four NCAA tournament games.

He showed his ability to get shots off in the post by sealing defenders, spinning off them or fading away. He showed confidence in his shooting range, even if the threes weren’t falling.

Hall became vulnerable when forced to face up and put the ball down, and despite encouraging form and shotmaking ability, his 31.5 three-point percentage reflects some unreliability.

A two-time All-ACC standout, including a first-team selection as a senior, Hall averaged 14.2 points and 5.3 boards per contest during his four-year Tiger career.

Hall averaged 18.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a senior, while shooting 49 percent from the floor. He was one of the centerpieces of the Tigers’ run to the Elite Eight last season and cemented his status as one of Clemson’s all-time greats.

Ahead of the draft, the Spartanburg, S.C., native showcased his athleticism and shooting at the NBA Combine this week.
