After visiting Clemson for the Elite Junior Day back in March, Rob Lange is set to return to campus next week.

The 2026 DE, out of Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC), had such a great time during his last visit, he is anxious to get back on June 5 and work out in front of DE coach Chris Rumph and DT coach Nick Eason.

“It went really well,” Lange told The Clemson Insider. “Met with coach Eason, coach Rumph, it was awesome. I really enjoyed it.”

The 6-foot-4, 235 pound prospect is ready to show off his athleticism.

“I know Clemson’s camps are a little bit different. They don’t really do combine drills or anything like that,” Lange said. “They kind of just see you as an athlete and I’m excited to show that I’m a lot more than just a big body. I’m athletic and can move.”

Being from the Greensboro area, Lange grew up rooting for Clemson. He also has a friendship with current DE commit Isaiah Campbell due to both using the same trainer. It’s a relationship that goes back some time, and the two have gotten closer over the past year.

“He said it’s a wonderful environment,” Lange said. “He’s very Tiger strong. That’s what he talks about. He’s excited, he’s ready.”

And Campbell has also been sure to inform Lange of the Tigers’ methodical recruiting process.

“One thing Isaiah talked about,” he said. “When you get offered from them, you know you’re that guy. You can get an offer from Georgia and schools like that and you just be another guy on their list. But get an offer from Clemson, and you’re pretty well set up. They’re very, very selective.”

North Carolina, South Carolina, Rutgers and Virginia Tech are the schools that Lange is currently hearing from the most, but it is that offer from Clemson he is really looking to collect.

“It would mean the world,” Lange said. “That’s always been my dream school. I have all Clemson stuff in my room. I’ve always just been a huge fan of Clemson. Even when I was a little boy and I didn’t even know much about football. Clemson is definitely a top one of mine.”
