A former Clemson offensive lineman is heading back to his alma mater — this time as a coach.
The Knoxville Catholic High School (Knoxville, Tenn.) football program announced Thursday that Bryn Tucker has been hired as the team’s new offensive line coach.
Before lettering at Clemson from 2020-23, Tucker was a consensus four-star prospect at Knoxville Catholic, the same school that produced Clemson receiver Amari Rodgers.
In his career at Knoxville Catholic, Tucker was a three-time all-state selection as well as a four-time All-Region selection, and he played on a state championship team in 2017. He was selected to the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game.
Tucker was a member of Clemson’s 2020 team that won the ACC Championship and appeared in the College Football Playoff, and then he won another ACC title with the Tigers in 2022. He was on the field for the final play of Clemson’s Senior Day win vs. No. 20 North Carolina in 2023.
We wish the best of luck to Bryn as he begins his coaching career.
