Barlow says Tigers Are ‘Prepared’ Entering Regional Play

CLEMSON — The third-ranked Clemson Tigers (41-14) are set to open play in the Clemson Regional at 7 p.m. Friday at Doug Kingsmore Stadium against High Point (34-25).

The Tigers are playing in the NCAA Tournament for the 46th time and hosting a regional for the second year in a row.

Clemson redshirt sophomore pitcher Billy Barlow met with the media on Thursday and discussed the Tigers’ mindset heading into postseason baseball and regional play.

“We’re super excited,” he said. “We’ve been training for this all year, all fall, and I really think we’re prepared. So, it’s just all about competing at the highest level and going out there and just having fun.”
