Big 4-Star Florida OL Has ‘10/10’ Interest Level in Clemson

One of Clemson’s assistant coaches recently paid a visit to this big four-star prospect from the Sunshine State.

Niceville (Fla.) High School class of 2026 offensive lineman Jakobe Green drew a school stop earlier this month from his area recruiter for the Tigers, defensive coordinator Wes Goodwin.

The Clemson Insider caught up with Green, who appreciates the fact that Goodwin stopped by to see him.

“Coach Goodwin came by to watch our practice, I didn’t really get a chance to chop it up with coach but it means a lot,” Green said. “He finally got a chance to see my growth since I’ve been at Niceville High School.”

A 6-foot-4, 335-pound rising junior, Green has seen his offer list grow steadily this year, and he now owns double digit offers.

Miami offered Green in January, and since then, he has picked up additional power conference offers from Ole Miss, West Virginia and UCF, along with other FBS offers from App State, Memphis, Toledo, Troy and USF.

“The recruiting process is going pretty good right now, plenty of schools are on me right now,” he said, “but the school I’m feeling interested in is Ole Miss. Me and Coach Enrique (analyst Enrique Davis) have been real close after I went up there to their spring practice.”

As for Clemson, Green is very high on Dabo Swinney’s program and couldn’t be more interested in the Tigers.

“My interest level for them is a 10/10,” Green said.

“Their ability to recruit top talent, develop players, and maintain a winning culture stands out to me,” Green added, “and it would be amazing if they were to offer me. I know my pastor would be very happy if he finds out they did.”

Green’s pastor in Florida, Terrance Roulhac, was a wide receiver at Clemson in the 1980s.

Green hasn’t had the chance to check out Clemson in person yet, but said he’s “looking forward” to visiting.
