The top player in the state has announced an offer from Clemson.
4-star defensive back J’Zavien Currence (South Pointe) announced the offer late Saturday evening via social media.

The 6-foot-3, 210-pound recruit now has well over 30 offers, with South Carolina, Florida, Florida State, Ohio State and Tennessee having already offered.
Currence ranks No. 68 overall and No. 7 among all safeties in the 247 Composite. He is also the top-ranked player in the state.
As a junior, Currence was credited with 67 total tackles, with five interceptions.
