CLEMSON — Five Clemson players earned All-Clemson Regional Tournament honors following Sunday’s 12-5 victory over Coastal Carolina in the regional finals at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.
Clemson shortstop Jacob Hinderleider was a unanimous selection and was named the MVP of the Regional.
Joining Hinderleider on the All-Regional Team was first baseman Jack Crighton, center fielder Cam Cannarella, left fielder Tristan Bissetta and pitcher Tristan Smith.
After going 5-for-5 in Saturday’s win over Coastal, Hinderleider was 3-for-5 in Sunday’s win with three RBIs.
The Tigers (44-14) advanced to host the Clemson Super Regional at Doug Kingsmore Stadium against the winner of the Stillwater Regional. The best-of-three series begins either Friday or Saturday. Game dates and times will be announced by the NCAA.
