Swinney High School Camp: Day 4 Morning Notebook

CLEMSON- The Saturday morning session of Dabo Swinney’s high school camp was littered with talent across most positions.

Several high profile offensive linemen worked out this morning, including a couple of players currently committed.

One the biggest visitors on hand this morning was 5-star OL Ekene Ogboko (South Garner, NC). The 6-foot-6 recruit is an imposing figure, ad easily stood out among all the rest of the uncommitted prospects. Still needs a little bulk, but it is easy to see why is generally considered one of the top players in the 2026 class, regardless of position. He moves really well and took all the coaching Matt Luke was giving him.

Current commit Brayden Jacobs was one again working out this morning, as was fellow commit Easton Ware. Getting some work in with Luke a year ahead of getting campus should pay dividends in the future.

2026 OL Grant Wise (Pace, Milton, Fl) was also on hand. The 6-foot-3, 300-pounder picked up one of the Tigers’ opening offers last weekend. The 4-star showed really good bend and excellent footwork.

2026 QB Tait Reynolds (Queens Creek, Az) was back at camp this morning. The 3-star QB has a really big, lively arm. Thought he was much more accurate with his throws this morning than the short sample size we saw on Wednesday. He also throws really well on the run. This could be the guy the staff decides to offer.

2026 QB Troy Huhn also threw for Garrett Riley on Saturday morning. The 4-star talen also has a big arm and throws the ball with a nice touch. Accuracy was on point.

2027 QB Grayson Clary was also in attendance. The local prospect (Daniel) looks to have added some bulk since he camped a year ago. Clary has nice touch on his passes and most of his throws are on the money.

2026 WR Jayden Petit was back at camp this morning. The 4-star (First Baptist, Naples, Fl) is long, athletic and absolutely looks the part.

2026 WR Ayson Theus worked out this morning after getting the tour from the coaches on Friday afternoon. Theus is the prototypical slot guy and has the speed and twitchiness you want to see in an inside receiver.

2027 LB Max Brown (Jefferson, Ga) looks better and better each and every time we lay eyes on him. He is sporting a buzz cut this summer, and is everything you look for in a linebacker. Very much like his older brother Sammy, a current former 5-star currently on the Clemson roster.

2027 WR Riley Hicks (Stewart Kramer, Belmont) might be a name to file away for the future. His grandfather played for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1970s.

2028 WR Trey Wimbly is another name worth filing away. Extremely twitchy. His dad was a roommate of Swinney’s during his days at Alabama.
