Ga. OL, Teammate of Tiger Commit Had ‘Amazing’ Clemson Camp Visit

Clemson class of 2025 offensive line commit Brayden Jacobs traveled to Tiger Town for the three-day Dabo Swinney Camp from June 7-9.

So did this standout offensive lineman who is teammates with Jacobs at Buford (Ga.) High School – Graham Houston, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound rising junior in the class of 2026.

Houston has a great relationship with Jacobs, and Houston is certainly glad he joined Jacobs in camping at Clemson.

“Brayden’s a great teammate. He obviously wants me to go there,” Houston told The Clemson Insider. “He’s a really great friend, and he’s the reason I came this (past) weekend, but I had no regrets about it. It was amazing.”

Not only was it Houston’s first time camping at Clemson, but it was his first time on campus period.

“I really loved it,” he said. “It was very different from other facilities, and it was very nice getting to see the weight room and the dining hall and all the stuff like that.”

As for the camp itself, Houston said he had a “great” experience and enjoyed all three days while learning a lot and getting to build a relationship with offensive line coach Matt Luke.

“He’s really different from all the college coaches that I’ve talked to,” Houston said. “He takes his job very seriously and spends time with the recruits and stuff like that, and he’s very passionate about what he does.”

Clemson was the first camp this summer for Houston, who’s also planning to camp at UCF and possibly Florida State as well.

Houston holds scholarship offers from FSU and UCF, along with other schools like Pittsburgh, Missouri, Oregon, Indiana and West Virginia.

It’s still early in the recruiting process for him, and he said “everything’s pretty wide open” in his recruitment right now.

“But I’ve never built a relationship like this with Coach Luke, like with any other coach besides Coach Luke,” Houston added. “So, it’s been great at Clemson.”

Adding an offer from Clemson moving forward, Houston said, would “mean a lot.”

“I’ve been watching them since I was little,” he said. “So, it would mean the world to go there.”
