Clemson has pulled the trigger on a new receiver offer for the 2025 class.
Saraland (Ala.) four-star wideout Dillon Alfred announced the offer from the Tigers via social media Monday night.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound rising senior recently worked out for Clemson’s staff at the Dabo Swinney Camp.
Alfred had been committed to Ole Miss since April before decommitting from the Rebels on Monday.
Along with camping at Clemson earlier this month, Alfred was also on campus in March when he attended a spring practice, and it was that visit that piqued his interest.
“When I came to one of the spring practices they just caught my eyes,” Alfred told The Clemson Insider. “I loved it there.”
“It’s the coaches there, coach Swinney and coach Grisham,” Alfred added regarding what stands out about Clemson. “And I felt the vibe there and that’s what really catches me. It’s a family environment. A place that will help you get to the next level. And I really love it there.”
