Following the conclusion of the men’s College World Series on Monday, the final USA TODAY Sports baseball coaches poll was released on Tuesday.
Clemson (44-16, 20-10 ACC) notched a top 10 finish, checking in at No. 9 in the coaches poll.
The Tigers finished as the fifth-highest ranked ACC team, behind Florida State (No. 4), North Carolina (No. 5), Virginia (No. 7) and NC State (No. 8).
This season, Clemson was an NCAA Regional champion and the ACC Atlantic Division champion. The Tigers were a national seed and advanced to a Super Regional for the first time since 2010.
Last season, Erik Bakich’s first year as Clemson’s head coach, the Tigers finished No. 18 in the coaches poll.
