One of Clemson’s remaining offensive line targets came off the board Wednesday night.

4-star Max Buchanan (Seminole, FL) announced a commitment to Miami, choosing the Hurricanes over Clemson, Florida State, UCF, Ole Miss and Penn State.

Buchanan was one of several priority targets on hand for the big official visit weekend, after picking up an offer from the Tigers last summer.

“The culture is amazing,” Buchanan told TCI after the official visit. “Everyone around Clemson supports it. And it definitely shows when there’s a full Clemson. It’s a college town.”

Buchanan ranks No. 238 overall in the 247 Composite Rankings and No. 13 among all interior offensive linemen.

Clemson already has three offensive line pledges in the 2025 class and are looking to add as many as two more. 5-star David Sanders and 4-star Hardy Watts are the two uncommitted targets with offers that the Tigers are waiting on decisions from.
