CLEMSON — Clemson safety Tyler Venables spoke to the media following Friday’s practice.
The veteran safety, and son of current Oklahoma head coach Brent Venables, said there is a different kind of mindset from quarterback Cade Klubnik and how he is leading the Tigers so far in camp.
“He is a great leader,” Venables said. “He is a very natural leader from what I have seen from him from January to where he is now. People are willing to get behind him. That is a really special and needed thing from a quarterback.”
