During his weekly Tuesday press conference, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney provided a health update on wide receiver Tyler Brown.
The sophomore wideout left early in the Tigers’ 56-20 victory over App State, with an ankle injury.
“He was out there yesterday,” Swinney said. “Same thing. Day to day. He is getting better every day. We’ll see how it goes Saturday.”
Brown has started both games for Clemson this season but played just five snaps against the Mountaineers before leaving. He had one catch for -2 yards. In the season-opening loss to Georgia, Brown logged 26 snaps, and tallied three catches for 25 yards.
Brown earned freshman All-American honors as a freshman last season after leading the team in catches (52) and receiving yards (531). He also reeled in four touchdown catches in 2023.
