Bryan Bresee balled out for the New Orleans Saints on Sunday in Week 3 of the NFL season.
Although the Saints came up short in a 15-12 home loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Bresee had himself a day on the field.
Bresee was a disruptive force on the Saints’ defensive line, as the former Clemson star notched two sacks, two tackles for loss, two quarterback hits and two tackles.
Bresee’s second sack of the game against Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts came at a key juncture of the contest with less than a minute and a half left in the fourth quarter. His first sack was also a big one, as he brought down Hurts on fourth down to force a turnover on downs in the third quarter.
Bresee continues to make a big impact for the Saints after they selected him in the first round (29th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft. He impressed as a rookie last year, when he posted 24 tackles (12 solo), seven tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and six passes defended.
