A local product and former four-star prospect from Greenville High, the 6-foot-6, 310-pounder came into this season having previously played 588 career snaps over 16 games (five starts, including three at tackle and two at guard).
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney updated the status of a key offensive lineman ahead of Saturday’s game at Florida State.
During his weekly Tuesday press conference, Swinney said the Tigers hope to get redshirt sophomore OL Collin Sadler (calf strain) back for the contest against the Seminoles.
Sadler saw a lot of action over the Tigers’ first two games this season, but has been out for the last two games.
Sadler played 36 snaps in the Aug. 31 season opener vs. top-ranked Georgia before getting a start against App State on Sept. 7 and playing 59 snaps vs. the Mountaineers.
Saturday’s game between the 15th-ranked Tigers (3-1, 2-0 ACC) and Seminoles (1-4, 1-3) at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee is set to kick off at 7 p.m. on ESPN.
