Clemson One of Top Schools for 4-Star OL Target

One of Clemson’s offensive line targets in the 2026 class has included the Tigers in his list of top schools.

4-star Bear McWhorter (Cass, GA) named his top nine schools on Tuesday, with Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Arkansas and Wisconsin all making the cut.

McWhorter picked up an offer from Clemson back in the summer after an unofficial visit in July. Since then, he has visited again for the Tigers’ blowout win over App State.

“Me and the family loved the visit,” McWhorter told The Clemson Insider after the visit. “Would definitely say the highlight was getting to be up on top of the hill when they came running down – that was awesome.”

ESPN ranks McWhorter No. 196 overall and No. 9 among all interior linemen. He also ranks No. 22 in the state of Georgia.
