The latest AP Top 25 Poll was released Sunday after Week 10 of the college football season.
Clemson (6-2, 5-1 ACC) tumbled down to No. 19 in the updated AP Poll following Saturday’s upset 33-21 loss to Louisville at Death Valley.
Enter Week 10, coming off an open date in Week 9, the Tigers were tied with Iowa State for the No. 11 ranking in the AP Poll.
Louisville used scores on five consecutive drives to pull ahead of Clemson in Saturday’s game, as the Tigers fell to 8-1 in their all-time series against the Cardinals. Clemson saw its 22-game win streak in home night games come to an end, as well as its six-game winning streak this season.
Clemson will try to get back on track next Saturday when it travels to play Virginia Tech, which lost at Syracuse in overtime on Saturday. The game between the Tigers and Hokies at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Va., is set to kick off at 3:30 p.m. on ESPN.
