A former Clemson star left his team’s NFL game on Sunday with an injury.
Atlanta Falcons defensive lineman Grady Jarrett was ruled out of the Falcons’ game against the Dallas Cowboys after sustaining an Achilles strain in the fourth quarter.
Falcons head coach Raheem Morris didn’t have an injury update on Jarrett after the game, per Falcons senior reporter Tori McElhaney.
McElhaney noted in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that after the game, Jarrett said he feels “solid” and that he left the game for “precautionary reasons.”
According to Josh Kendall of The Athletic, Jarrett will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury.
Jarrett, who suffered a season-ending torn ACL last season, recorded two tackles, a sack and a tackle for loss before leaving Sunday’s game.
