Clemson Ranking in Updated AP Poll

The latest AP Top 25 Poll was released Sunday after Week 12 of the college football season.

Clemson (8-2, 7-1 ACC) holds steady at No. 17 in the updated AP Poll following following Saturday’s 24-20 road victory over Pitt on Saturday. Last week the Tigers were also No. 17.

After taking a 17-7 lead into the fourth quarter, the Panthers scored 13 unanswered points and took a 20-17 with less than two minutes remaining. However, in the ensuing drive Clemson would need just three plays to retake the lead, as Cade Klubnik scored on a 50-yard QB draw, putting the Tigers back up 24-20 with just over a minute to play. Khalil Barnes’ interception on the final play would seal it.
