Lawrence Returns Amid Jaguars’ Disappointing Season

The former Clemson national champion and Jaguars franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence is back at practice, but what does it mean for Jacksonville?

2024 has been a disappointing year to say the least for Doug Pederson’s team, even drawing him to make some “in-house changes” during this 2-9 skid. Lawrence is 2-7 as a starter this season with 2,004 passing yards, 14 total touchdowns and six interceptions.

Pederson confirmed he will be back at practice but his status for this Sunday’s matchup with the Texans is still in question. Lawrence inked a five-year, $275 million contract before the season and the Jaguars hope to surround him with talent for the future.
