Larranaga was one of the spearheads in the new NIL era of college basketball, building a roster that reached the Final Four in 2023 but the program has taken a quick downturn since.
With Larranaga’s expected retirement, Clemson’s Brad Brownell is now the second-longest tenured coach in the ACC, only behind Florida State’s Leonard Hamilton with 22 years.
