2025 Mock Draft Has Two Tigers Reuniting in the NFL

Pro Football Network recently released a seven-round, 2025 NFL Mock Draft.

The mock draft projects five Clemson players to be selected in April’s draft – including two being drafted by the same team.

Pro Football Network’s mock draft has Clemson linebacker Barrett Carter and offensive tackle Blake Miller reuniting in the NFL with the Los Angeles Rams.

Pro Football Network has both Carter and Miller going to the Rams in the third round, with Carter as the 82nd overall selection and Miller as the No. 100 overall pick.

“Though Barrett Carter’s last two seasons haven’t been as good as his 2022 campaign, he’s still an elite athlete on tape with coverage value at linebacker and a high motor,” Pro Football Network wrote. “Someone like the Rams could surely take a shot on Carter’s upside in this range.”

“A three-year starter for Clemson at right tackle, Blake Miller offers good length, power, strike placement, and temperament for his position,” Pro Football Network wrote. “His athletic ceiling isn’t the highest in the world, but Miller is tough and can get the job done.”

The Rams have selected a Clemson player in each of the past two drafts. They took defensive lineman Tyler Davis in the sixth round (196th overall) of the 2024 NFL Draft, after picking tight end Davis Allen in the fifth round (175th overall) of the 2023 draft.

Meanwhile, Pro Football Network’s mock draft projects the Minnesota Vikings to take Clemson defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart in the third round with the 97th overall pick.

“Without a second-round pick, the Vikings will need to get creative with their other selections to round out their roster,” Pro Football Network wrote. “DeMonte Capehart has tremendous arm length with large hands, and he’s a powerful run defender who can eat up gaps with flashes of burst and quickness on passing downs.”

Tight end Jake Briningstool (Round 5 to the Philadelphia Eagles, No. 166 overall pick) and running back Phil Mafah (Round 7 to the New York Giants, No. 217 overall pick) round out the Clemson selections in Pro Football Network’s mock draft.

The Eagles drafted former Clemson running back Will Shipley (Round 4, Pick 127) and former Clemson linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. (Round 5, Pick 155) in the 2024 draft, while the Giants currently have a couple of former Tigers on their roster in safety/linebacker Isaiah Simmons and defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence.

The 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled to be held from April 24-26 inside and around iconic Lambeau Field and Titletown in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
