Clemson Wideout Announces Plans for Next Season

Antonio Williams has made it official.

The veteran wideout, and one of the key cogs in the Tigers’ offense, will return for his senior season at Clemson instead of opting to enter the NFL Draft.

Williams made the announcement in an Instagram post, saying “More to be done.”

As a junior, Williams was a first-team All-ACC selection after recording career highs with 75 receptions, 904 receiving yards and 11 receiving touchdowns. He also added seven carries for 101 yards and a touchdown and went 2-for-2 passing for 62 yards with a touchdown pass. He joins C.J. Spiller (2008 and 2009), Jacoby Ford (2009) and Sammy Watkins (2012) as Clemson players since 2000 to record a passing touchdown, a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown in a single season.

Williams, who was a freshman All-American, will enter the 2025 season with 153 career receptions for 1,732 yards and 17 touchdowns. He has caught at least one pass in each of the 33 games he has appeared in while at Clemson.
