One of Clemson’s top targets in the 2026 recruiting class is set to return to campus later this month.
4-star DL Bryce Perry-Wright (Buford, Ga) tells The Clemson Insider that he plans to attend the Elite Retreat scheduled for January 25. The annual outing has grown into one of the Tigers’ premier recruiting events each year.
Perry-Wright hails from the same high school as incoming freshman offensive lineman Brayden Jacobs. He has been a frequent visitor since picking up one of Clemson’s opening offers back in June after an impressive showing at camp.
He was on hand as a Clemson recruit for the Tigers’ season-opener against Georgia in Atlanta, and was then on campus the very next week for the home opener against App State. Perry-Wright also visited for the Louisville and South Carolina games.
The 6-foot-3, 260-pound blue-chip prospect is one of the most heavily sought-after defensive linemen in the class. He has more than three dozen offers and was a 2025 Navy All-American. Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Southern Cal, Nebraska, Texas and Texas A&M also got in-season visits.
As a junior, Perry-Wright was credited with 57 tackles. His nine sacks and 13.0 tackles for loss were both team highs, as was his 17 quarterback hurries. The 247 Composite ranks him No. 38 overall, No. 2 among all defensive linemen and No. 7 in the state of Georgia.
