4-Star OL Sets Next Visit to Clemson

One of Clemson’s top recruiting targets in the 2026 recruiting class is set to return to campus in the spring.

4-star OL Bear McWhorter tells The Clemson Insider that he will visit on March 8.

Offensive line coach Matt Luke checked in on McWhorter this week.

McWhorter picked up an offer from Clemson back in the summer after an unofficial visit in July. Since then, he has visited again for the Tigers’ blowout win over App State.

“Me and the family loved the visit,” McWhorter told The Clemson Insider after the visit.

“The visit this weekend definitely helped Clemson,”

Late last year, McWhorter released a list of his Top 9 schools consisting of Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Arkansas and Wisconsin.

ESPN ranks McWhorter No. 196 overall and No. 9 among all interior linemen. He also ranks No. 22 in the state of Georgia.
