Amare Adams has been putting in work this week at the Navy All-American Bowl.
After continuously turning heads in the practices leading up to the all-star game on Saturday, the 5-star Clemson signee has now been named the Anthony Munoz Lineman of the Year.
Muñoz is regarded by many as the top offensive lineman in professional football history and is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame after playing 13 seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He was named to the National Football League’s 75th Anniversary Team and the NFL’s 1980’s All-Decade Team.

The 6-foot-4, 315-pound defensive lineman helped lead South Florence to its second state title in three seasons this season. Despite facing constant double teams, and sometimes triple teams, Adams tallied 75 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, six sacks, two passes deflected and one forced fumble.
Adams, who is an early enrollee, was the only defensive tackle taken by Clemson in the 2025 class and he is the highest-rated recruit signed by the Tigers.
